Bandon Golf Club
About Bandon Golf Club
Bandon Golf Club is set in the Castlebernard Estate near Bandon in West Cork, where woodland, old estate walls and the Bandon River valley create a distinctive parkland setting. Founded in 1909, the club has an 18-hole par-71 course whose historic surroundings are part of the experience: several holes play around the old Castlebernard property, and mature trees frame many fairways. The club is a short drive from Bandon town and lies within reach of Kinsale and Clonakilty. Members, visitors and group golfers can enjoy a full round in a countryside environment, with online visitor booking available through the club’s official booking service.
Course Information
The par-71 Bandon course winds through the grounds of the former Castlebernard Estate. Holes five, six and seven pass close to the historic castle site, and surviving estate walls and woodland contribute to the character of the layout. Rolling ground and natural hazards add variety across the full 18 holes, making the setting an important part of the round.
