About Beaufort Golf Resort
Beaufort Golf Club is set at Churchtown near Killarney, in a landscape framed by the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and the slopes of Ireland’s highest mountains. The 18-hole course occupies historic estate land featuring mature trees, rolling meadows, lakes and the remains of an old castle. Originally laid out by Arthur Spring, the course was subsequently redeveloped by McKenzie and Ebert to make fuller use of the natural terrain. Golfers can expect generous scenery alongside strategically placed hazards and varied changes in elevation. With visitor tee-time booking available, Beaufort combines a distinctly Kerry setting with the amenities of an established golf venue.
Course Information
Beaufort’s 18-hole parkland course uses naturally rolling estate terrain below the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks, passing mature trees, lakes and historic castle ruins. Arthur Spring’s original design was later remodelled by McKenzie and Ebert. The changes of elevation and varied green complexes provide much of the challenge, with mountain views accompanying the round.
