Bundoran Golf Club
About Bundoran Golf Club
Bundoran Golf Club occupies a headland above Donegal Bay in the seaside town of Bundoran, where the Atlantic and Dartry Mountains frame the course. Established in 1894, the club is one of Ireland’s older golfing venues and has a course associated with Harry Vardon. Its 18 holes follow a clifftop links setting close to the famous Roguey Walk, making the coastal weather an important part of the challenge. The clubhouse serves both members and visitors, with views towards the closing green and the ocean beyond. A busy pro shop, coaching team and society facilities complement the course’s longstanding place in the local community.
Course Information
The par-70, 18-hole links layout winds over a coastal headland above Donegal Bay. Exposed fairways and constantly changing winds demand considered shot selection, with elevated approaches and seaside views adding drama. The par-four 11th is a signature hole, asking for a controlled tee shot before an approach to a raised green.
