Bushfoot Golf Club
About Bushfoot Golf Club
Bushfoot Golf Club sits beside the River Bush at Portballintrae on County Antrim’s north coast, close to the beaches and headlands of the Causeway Coast. Founded in 1890, the club is known for its traditional nine-hole links, which can be played twice from varying tees to make an 18-hole round. Coastal wind, natural contours and the compact setting create a distinctly seaside challenge. Alongside its golf course, Bushfoot has a clubhouse restaurant and bar, a small pitch-and-putt facility and PGA-led coaching. Its location near the Giant’s Causeway makes it a useful golfing stop for visitors exploring the north coast.
Course Information
Bushfoot’s nine links holes can be played twice from different tees for an 18-hole, par-70 round. The routing moves across short coastal turf with views over the River Bush and surrounding shoreline. Wind and changing lines of approach provide variety, while a small pitch-and-putt facility offers a separate short-game option.
