About East Clare Golf Club
East Clare Golf Club lies beside beautiful lakes and rolling countryside, delivering a calm and natural parkland setting. Its friendly membership and relaxing environment make it a popular choice for stress-free, enjoyable golf.
Course Information
This Dr. Arthur Spring designed Championship parkland course is idyllically situated in the rolling East Clare landscape just a stone’s throw from beautiful Lough Derg.
The breathtaking panoramic views particularly from the 6th and 12th greens together with the natural beauty of numerous on-course water features combine to make this one of the most talked about courses in the region and a visit to East Clare is considered an essential component in the itinerary of the golfing enthusiast.
As host of the 1998 West of Ireland Seniors Championship both touring professionals and PGA officials alike, marvelled at the quality of the large multi-tiered greens designed to test the skills of even the most accomplished golfers.
In the words of Mr Michael Harrer, PGA Tournament Administrator, “what has been achieved here is nothing short of miraculous”.
